PAHAMUDDIN, SGA ใผ To further strengthen grassroots monitoring and community safety, Tiyakap Kalilintad, Inc. (TKI), in partnership with Transforming Fragilities, Inc. (TFI), conducted a two-day re-echo training on basic EWER skills for the community of Barangay Binansing, Pahamuddin, SGA.

Held on May 4-5, 2026, it served as a knowledge-sharing platform to cascade essential monitoring skills to the local Early Warning Early Response (EWER) group. This re-echo session focused on the practical fundamentals of identifying conflict triggers and establishing rapid communication lines to prevent the escalation of local disputes.

The training is designed to build the capacity of women-led and gender-sensitive EWER groups in underserved, conflict-affected areas. By focusing on local social formations, the initiative ensures that frontline actors are equipped with the basic tools to observe, report, and respond to potential community-based conflict. This re-echo session is a vital component of the project โStrengthening the Moro and IP Womenโs Capacities in Early Warning Early Response (EWER) and Community-Based Conflict Mediation.โ

Furthermore, the initiative emphasized the systematic use of Early Warning and Early Response (EWER) data to guide interventions. To ensure these efforts have a lasting impact, the EWER groups will be formally registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and accredited with their respective municipal LGUs to officially recognize them as peace actors in the region.

Funded by the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) through UN Women, this initiative is a key component of the project “Strengthening Moro and IP Womenโs Capacities in Early Warning and Early Response (EWER) and Community-Based Conflict Mediation.”

This partnership between TKI and TFI reaffirms a shared commitment to empowering indigenous peoples and Moro women as essential catalysts for inclusive governance and community resilience in the Bangsamoro and its neighboring areas.
