Transforming Fragilities, Inc. (TFI) was among the local and international stakeholders to receive a Certificate of Commendation from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) for “meritorious contribution in the implementation of the National Action Plan on Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE)” during the National PCVE Summit organized by DILG and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) yesterday, November 8, at Luxent Hotel, Quezon City.
TFI provided technical support to the Ministry of Local Government (MILG) of the BARMM and UNDP in facilitating a series of consultations within the Bangsamoro Region in developing the Bangsamoro Plan of Action for Community Resilience (BPA-CoRe) based on the MILG’s CoRe Convergence Framework, which incorporated PCVE activities.
TFI is also implementing UNDP’s Baseline Study on Preventing Violent Extremism in the BARMM, which intends to inform the programming of the agency’s PVE Project, co-funded by the European Commission.
