Ahmed Harris “Tommy” R. Pangcoga
“Tommy”, as he is more known by friends and colleagues in the Mindanao development community, serves as the chairman of the board of directors of Transforming Fragilities. He is an experienced international development professional with a demonstrated history in program management, evaluation/research project management, and organizational / community capacity development. Tommy is currently the Country Director of Equal Access International in the Philippines. Prior to that, he has served as the organization’s MERL Manager. In the past, he has worked with such agencies as Equal Access International, UNICEF, UNHCR, Plan International, Save the Children, Childfund, Cordaid, Catholic Relief Services, either as national staff or as consultant. He specializes in the practice areas of peacebuilding and conflict transformation, preventing and transforming violent extremism, child protection, human rights and justice, participatory governance, and disaster risk reduction. Has linkages and networks among local peace and development stakeholders in conflict affected communities in Mindanao.
