TFI participated in an inception workshop organized by World Vision Development Foundation, Inc. (WVDFI) for the Evaluation of its Technical Program in the Education Sector this month at the WVDFI country office in Quezon City. The inception workshop was also attended by other consultants who will also be conducting simultaneous evaluations for WVDFI’s Technical Programs on the Health and Nutrition Sector and the Community Empowerment and Sustainability Program (CESP). This evaluation exercise will be implemented this year.

WVDFI continues to implement technical programs in its 2nd cycle of LEAP 3.0 (Learning through Evaluation with Accountability & Planning). LEAP is World Vision’s Design, Monitoring and Evaluation Learning Framework. Currently, a total of 3 technical programmes in Fiscal year 2020 (FY20) to Fiscal year 2025 (FY25) are implemented as priority sector areas. These technical programmes (TPs) are – Education, Health and Nutrition, and Community Engagement and Sponsorship Plan (CESP). On this cycle, WVDF continues to implement programs in addressing CWB issues as part of its National and Global Strategy. As the second cycle/phase nears completion, an evaluation is required to determine progress or lack thereof.

This evaluation is the second active engagement of TFI with World Vision Philippines. The first one is the Integrated Solid Waste Management and Adaptation Project in Cotabato City.

World Vision is a global Christian humanitarian organization devoted to improving the lives of children, their families, and their communities.
