Transforming Fragilities, Inc., conducted a series of provincial consultations in November 2023 as part of the Child Rights Situational Analysis (CRSA) in the BARMM commissioned by ChildFund Philippines.
The consultations gathered local government officials and CSO representatives per province who work on children’s rights and welfare, parents, and older children, to gather information and insights on the state of children in the BARMM.
Provincial teams made up of local children specialists and practitioners from the academe, the development sector, and the education sector facilitated these consultations after TFI engaged them to efficiently roll out the various CRSA tools.
This CRSA of the BARMM also aims to produce a policy paper on what policy development and policy modifications are required to improve the situation of children within the Bangsamoro Region.
