TFI, represented by Judith Libarnes, Program Manager, and Rainbow Sakal, Operations Officer, Roselle Maata, Finance Officer, attended the Reorientation on City Solid Waste Management and Integrated SWM-Circular Economy Project, organized by the World Vision Development Foundation, Inc. (WVDFI) on November 15, 2023. The event was attended by stakeholders and partners of WVDFI.

This program is a part of WVDFI’s project, “Integrated Solid Waste Management-Circular Economy Adaptation for Alternative Plastic Waste Solutions in Cotabato City, Philippines,” funded by the European Union. The project aims to improve solid waste management practices in the area, and TFI is one of the local partners for WVDFI on this initiative.
In addition to the reorientation, TFI also visited the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of Cotabato City at the People’s Palace and the City Government’s Task Force Solid Waste Management as part of the preliminary steps in implementing the project.

The project’s objectives align with TFI’s services, particularly in Track 1: Data for Programme Management and Development, Pillar 3: Data for Programme Management & Development – Engagement of Communities in Problem Identification and Co-designing of Interventions.
