๐๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐๐ผ ๐๐ถ๐๐ โ On 22 January, Transforming Fragilities Inc., led by its research lead, Prof. Rufa C. Guiam, convened an initial coordination meeting with Assistant Attorney General Mohammad Al-Amin Julkipli of the Bangsamoro Attorney Generalโs Office (BAGO) and Ms. Rosanne Imperial, Chief of the Programs and Operations Division of the Ancestral Domain Bureau under the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples Affairs (MIPA)
The meeting forms part of the preparatory activities for the upcoming full-scale series of interviews and focus group discussions for the Baseline Study of the Partnership for Peace and Development in Mindanao (PPDM) Programme. The PPDM is a European Union-funded programme, to be implemented by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The baseline study is being undertaken in support of the forthcoming implementation of the PPDM, with support from the Support to Bangsamoro Transition (SUBATRA) Programme.
This engagement represents an initial stage of the baseline study, aimed at aligning key institutions and stakeholders on the study objectives, scope, and data collection approach. The study will assess the current institutional landscape, existing initiatives, as well as gaps and opportunities across Governance, Public Financial Management (PFM), and Justice in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
