๐๐ข๐ง๐๐๐๐ง๐ข ๐๐๐ง๐ฌ โ Gearing up for a landmark study on BARMM economic intersections, Transforming Fragilities, Inc. (TFI), together with the Economic and Intelligence Division of the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA), convened for an inception meeting on January 22, 2026. TFI is facilitating the engagement with BPDA, while the roll-out of the research is a partnership between TFI and The Moropreneur Inc. (TMI) leadership. The meeting is an integral part of the engagement study entitled โExploring the Intersection of Barter Trade, Halal Practices, and Islamic Financing: An Intersection Analysis of the Opportunities and Challenges for Economic Development in BARMM.โ
The inception meeting served as a strategic platform to align research expectations and deliverables. BPDA provided a comprehensive overview of the research scope and implementation arrangements. In response, TFI presented a detailed methodology and a phase-by-phase breakdown of activities to ensure the research’s success.
Key discussions focused on the researchโs timeline and the synchronization of upcoming activities. This research is expected to provide critical insights into how the traditional practice of barter trade can be integrated with modern Halal standards and Islamic financial systems to drive holistic economic growth within the Bangsamoro region.
