DAVAO CITY, Philippines โ€” August 8, 2025 โ€” Officials from eleven (11) BARMM Ministries, Offices, and Agencies (MBOAs) came together on August 8 to drive forward the Bangsamoro Youth Development Plan (BYDP) 2025โ€“2030.

The inter-agency meeting, organized by the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC), aimed to strengthen cross-sector collaboration by securing commitments for youth programs that are inclusive, evidence-based, and responsive to the unique challenges faced by young people in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.

Mr. Ahmed Harris R. Pangcoga, Executive Director of Transforming Fragilities, Inc. (TFI), facilitated this round of consultations. The activity built upon previous consultations and stakeholder workshops, which formed the foundation of the BYDP.

This plan, grounded in the findings of the Bangsamoro Youth Assessment Study (BYAS), serves as a framework for coordinated, evidence-based youth programs in BARMM.

Attendees included representatives from MILG, MPOS, MIPA, MOH, MOST, MOLE, OSC, BWC, BDI, BSC and BCPCH. Their contributions were instrumental in identifying priority concerns, aligning ongoing initiatives, and defining clear development goals for the coming years.

This gathering not only reinforced the BYCโ€™s role as the lead coordinating body but also demonstrated the collaborative spirit of its partners and facilitators โ€” all working toward a shared vision of a better future for the regionโ€™s youth.
