MARAWI CITY, Philippines – July 1-2, 2025 – The Training of Field Teams for the Baseline Study of the Lanao del Sur Program Area successfully concluded on July 2 at Skylight Hotel, Marawi City. This two-day training was organized in preparation for the implementation of a comprehensive baseline study to support Plan International Pilipinas Foundation Inc.’s ongoing development initiatives in the province, together with its local strategic partner, MARADECA, Inc..
The training brought together enumerators, team supervisors, and documenters who will be deployed to key municipalities in Lanao del Sur, particularly in Marantao, Saguiaran, and Piagapo. It equipped field staff with the necessary skills in data collection, ethical research practices, and field coordination, ensuring accuracy and integrity in gathering vital information from communities.
The successful convening of this training marks a significant step toward enhancing the capacity for effective data collection, ultimately contributing to sustainable development in the region. By equipping field teams with the necessary skills, this initiative aims to support culturally relevant interventions addressing the challenges faced by the Maranao people.
