Transforming Fragilities was one of 154 CSOs supporting the BARMM that attended the CSO Summit 2023 organized by the Consortium of Bangsamoro Civil Society (CBCS). The Summit will hold sessions from January 17 to 19 at the Em Manor Hotel in Cotabato City. The objectives of the summit are 1) To promote a deeper awareness of the current socio-economic and political development in the BARMM, the challenges, and perspective; 2) To solicit recommendations from the stakeholders on programs and activities towards building strong social cohesion and unity among the BM leaders; 3) To promote convergence among the CSOs in identifying agenda in support to the Transition and beyond, and 4) to develop a mechanism of collaboration among important stakeholders; the BTA, Development partners, and the CSOs in support of achieving a smooth transition.
TFI has been supporting the BARMM since 2019 mainly by utilizing evidence-based project implementation and providing technical support in M&E, research, and institutional development to various BARMM agencies and international organizations implementing projects and programs in the BARMM.
